A Meal for Four for under $10!!!

Pasta Carbonara


1 bag of Spaghetti/pasta
Drop of Olive oil
Package of turkey Bacon
Tin of Mushrooms
Parmasen cheese
4 Egg Yolks
1/2 cup of heavy cream
teaspoon of gralic paste
A pinch of Salt and Pepper


  1. To cook the spaghetti/pasta boil water with a drop of olive oil to prevent sticking
  2. Meanwhile, fry the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat.When cooked, chop up and toss in a teaspoon of garlic paste.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat yolks, then add 1 large ladleful (about 1/2 cup) of the pasta cooking water. This tempers the eggs and keeps them from scrambling when added to the pasta.
  4. Drain spaghetti/pasta and place back into saucepan.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the pasta. Toss rapidly to coat the pasta without cooking the egg.Working quickly over a very low heat, add Parmesan, salt, pepper, mushrooms, and bacon.
